Palak Mehta founded Vegan First in 2016 - a platform to enable the plant-based ecosystem in India. Vegan First makes going vegan easy through festivals, conferences, products and services. Vegan First's flagship events led by Palak, are the largest platforms for plant-based and sustainable living in India - The Ekatva Festival and the Vegan India Conference. Palak is a part of the task force on Vegan Foods set up by FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India) and also the Vice-chair of the World Vegan Organisation's India Chapter.
She is the host of the talk show Secrets of India which unearths spiritual gems from the mouths of saints and spiritual seekers elevated in the depths of silence.
As an advocate of women's empowerment and a part of the core organising committee, she also organises the Festival of Womanhood by Mohanji International Switzerland.
